Rita SulenticRita F. Sulentic, 76, of Albia died Saturday, July 10, 1993, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Services were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Albia, the Rev. M.J. Brothersen officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
She was born July 12, 1916, in Melrose to William and Frances Walsh Carr. She married Anthony Sulentic Sept. 10, 1940*, in Rock Island, Ill. He survives. She lived in Albia since 1973 and formerly in Lovilia. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by a son, William Michael of Council Bluffs; a daughter, Mary Ann Sulentic of Des Moines; a sister, Marie Stuflebeam of Unionville; and a brother, Thomas Donald Carr of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Gerald, Bill and Raymond.
