OBITUARY

John Griffin, age 82 years, retired farmer, died March 5, 1934, at the home of his son, James, near Georgetown, after a long illness.

He had lived most of his life in the vicinity of Melrose. His wife preceded him in death.

Surviving are four sons, James of Georgetown, William of Melrose, Matthew of Colorado and Perry, who's address is unknown; two daughters, Mrs. John Sullivan of Lovilia and Mrs. Raymond Schrader of Omaha.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday at 9:30 a. m. at the Melrose Catholic church and burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
