Alice Judge

Alice Judge, 80, of Pleasant Hill, formerly of Albia, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 1994, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albia, the Rev. Thomas Doyle officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Albia.

She was born Sept. 15, 1914, in Monroe County to Michael and Mary Sheedy Heyland. She married Walter Judge Aug. 30, 1932. She had lived in Monroe County most of her life spending the last few months in Cedar Rapids and Pleasant Hill. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Betty Murray of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Gene of Bondurant, Michael of Des Moines, Jack of Pleasant Hill and Jim of Dubuque; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadette Maddy and Evelyn Ryan, both of Albia.

Gilbert Funeral Home in Albia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
