Monday, August 11, 1969Mrs. Hollinrake, 79, dies in Knoxville
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Weller this morning for Mrs. John (Mary Elizabeth) Hollinrake, 79, Lovilia, who died Friday at the Griffin Nursing Home in Knoxville.
She was born Jan. 17, 1890 in Melrose, the daughter of James and Mary Duggan McKillip. She married John Hollinrake in 1916. They had farmed in the Weller community all of their married life. Mr. Hollinrake died in 1964.
Mrs. Hollinrake is survived by her four sons, John Ed of Albia, Paul and Joseph of Lovilia, and Leo of Des Moines; 26 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four daughters and a son.
The Rosary was recited Sunday night at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Lovilia. The Rev. Sylvester Conrad conducted services this morning and interment was in the church cemetery.
