Mrs. Lahart rites today

Mrs. Gertrude Lahart, 88, widow of James Lahart, died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday at Bagley Custodial Home in Albia. Services were held this morning at St. Mary's Church in Albia at 11:30 with burial in Georgetown.

She was a lifelong resident of the Albia area, born Sept. 22, 1882, the daughter of Frank and Ellen Luttrell Judge. She married Mr. Lahart April 30, 1904.

Survivors are four sons, John, James, Ed and Walter, all of the Georgetown area; two daughters, Ellen Flattery of Des Moines, and Mary Scieszinski of Albia; 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; three sisters, Nellie Vitt of St. Paul, Kan., and Anne Judge and Sister Mary Paul of the Good Shepherd, both of St. Paul, Minn.; and two brothers, Mike Judge of Maryville, Mo., and Walter of Lexington, Nebr.

The Humeston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
