DUGGAN RITES HELD

Funeral services for Mrs. James Duggan, who died Thursday in Davenport, were held Saturday morning at St. Patrick's church in Melrose. In charge of the rites was the Rev. R. J. McGrath. Burial was I'm Mt. Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Barbara Duggan, 91, for many years a resident of Melrose, died August 10, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Wolfe, in Davenport.

Mrs. Duggan had made her home in Davenport since the death of her husband, James, pioneer merchant, newspaperman and former postmaster of Melrose, who died in 1944.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Wolfe; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. William Frew of Albia; two brothers, Morgan Sinnott of Albia and Frank Sinnott of Melrose.

Funeral services were held in St. Patrick's church at Melrose Saturday morning and burial made in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
