LAST RITES HELD TODAY FOR JOHN SHEEDY OF ALBIA

Death Comes Tuesday at 8:10 P.M., at Age of 77 Years

Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Weller church for John Sheedy, 77, who died Tuesday at 8:10 p.m., at his home in AlbIa after a long illness.

Sheedy was born and resided until 13 months ago in Union township. He was the son of Patrick and Catherine Sheedy, and was married November 15, 1889 to Mary Kelly.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, P. W. Sheedy of Melrose and John E. Sheedy of Albia; five daughters, Mrs. Mike Heyland of Lovilia, Mrs. James Hannam of Melrose, Mrs. Robert Coady of Melrose, Mrs. Mortimer Hannam of Melrose and Mrs. Al Currie of Melrose.

The Rev. Father J. A. Wagner was in charge of the rites this morning at Weller. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery in that community.
