Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church, Weller, for Mrs. Ed Barron, 54, who died Thursday at 6 a.m. at the Monroe county hospital. She had been ill for 15 months.
She was the former Agnes Falvey and taught in rural schools and in Bussey and Albia for several years.
Surviving are her husband, Ed; a son Joe and two daughters, Mary Ann and Regina, all at home; three sisters and one brother.
A rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Humeston funeral home in Albia.
