Mrs. Frank Carr Rites Wednesday

Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Mrs. Frank (Jane) Carr, 81, of Ottumwa, a former Albia and Weller resident, who died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.

Mrs. Carr was born Aug. 1, 1886 near Weller the daughter of Patrick and Catherine O'Brien. She was married to Frank Carr, who died March 26, 1946. They had moved from their home near Weller to Albia where Mrs. Carr had made her home until about 15 years ago when she moved to Ottumwa.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Ottumwa.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mike Bingaman of Lovilia, Mrs. C. Leo Kapp of Ottumwa, Mrs. D. L. Sheedy of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Donald Bates of Ottumwa; two sons, Joseph P. of Melrose and Frank, with the U.S. Air Force in Japan.

Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, John and Edward.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Weller with the Rev. S. A. Conrad officiating. The Rev. Paul C. Hart will assist and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The Rosary will be Tuesday evening at 8 p. m . at the Humeston Funeral Home.
