Oren McGee, son of Lewis McGee, was born at Hamilton, Iowa, on May 13, 1911 and died on November 16, 1939 aged 28 years, 6 months and 2 days.
With the exception of living at Newton, the deceased had made his home in Marion county, before moving to Lovilia.
He was married to Eunice Thompson on March 8, 1936 and to this union was born one daughter.
Surviving are his wife and daughter, Norma Jean; his mother, sisters and brothers, named above, other relatives and a host of friends.
Double funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Hamilton Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. B.H.Finch, pastor of the Bussey Methodist church.
Burial was made in the Hamilton cemetery.
