The Albia Republican Thursday Nov. 7, 1907

Nancy Sinclair died at her home on Tick Ridge, south of the city last Friday night after an illness that has covered months of time. She lived on the old home place practically alone and her business matters were looked after by John Hollingshead, who had been appointed guardian by the courts.

There is no one who can tell the age of the lady, though it is known she is passed three score. She lived by herself for many years and was looked upon as a harmless and miserly soul. For the last few years her mental condition has been weak and it was neccessary for the courts to appoint a guardian to care for her business matters and to see that the estate was not frittered away. For a few months John Fallon has been residing on the farm and doing what work was to be done and it was he who found her dead early Friday morning.

The funeral was held Monday and the remains were taken to the Coventry cemetery north of Chisholm for interment.
