DIED -- On Wednesday, 7th inst., of Paralysis, at the residence of Samuel NOBLE, in Albia, Iowa, Samuel D. RAMEY, aged 32 years... He was interred with the rites of Odd-Fellowship on Friday at 11 o'clock.

Deceased was born in Huntingdon County, Penn., A.D. 1827. A year or two subsequent to his birth, his parents removed to Indiana County, where his mother and his surviving brothers and sisters still reside. In March, 1851, he and a brother some two years younger than himself, bade adieu to all that was dear to them in the East, to seek a home in the then "Far West". They arrived in Jefferson County on the 28th of the same month, and both became residents of Fairfield. On the 18th of September, 1851, the younger brother died. Deceased remained in this city until the fall of 1852, when he paid a visit to his friends in the East. He returned to Fairfield in the fall of 1853, and remained until the summer of 1855, when he became a citizen of Albia. In April, 1854, he united with the Presbyterian church in this city, and on his removal to Albia he united by letter, with the church of the same name there.....
