I am a political items collector; I have a pinback for "Ella M. Gardner for Superintendent of Schools"--it dates to around 1910, making it a rare woman suffrage item. After a long search, I found an obituary for her--in the Los Angeles Times. It indicated she held that position in Monona County. Does anyone have any more information about her?
