Hi, Simon,

Following is the information I have on John T. Baggs' parents. Rebecca was the daughter of Sarah Owen and John Thomas of Harrison Co., Virginia. I believe John Thomas came from Wales mid-1700s and came to America when he was about 10 yrs. old. Does this match any of your Baggs information? I am very interested in hearing what you might have. John T. Baggs, by the way, was born in Champaign Co., Ohio ca. 1823.

3. REBECCA3 THOMAS (SARAH2 OWEN, JOHN1)7,8 was born May 02, 1794 in Harrison Co., VA 9, and died September 15, 1867 in near Dixon, Illinois 10. She married (1) REV. JOHN BAGGS11,12 May 10, 1813 in Champaign Co., Ohio13. He died 1827 in drowned in Mackinaw River14. She married (2) ABRAM OBRIST 14,15 April 08, 1832 in Putnam Co., Illinois16. He was born Abt. 1803 in Switzerland17.
