The Cass County Genealogical Society is wanting to verify a submitters query that his great grandfather, Henry Stone, died while digging a well in Moorhead, Iowa, in 1892(May). It is information that is found on Ancestry.com. Are there any Monona county newspapers that verify this fact. Our newspaper has an item that states Henry Stone died of pneumonia at his home May 17, 1892.If he did die in the well digging accident, it is another Henry Stone that died of pneumonia. Would you please help us. CCGS
