Obituary from the Leavenworth Times (Leavenworth, Kansas), February 9, 1913

James O'Connor, G 2nd Michigan Calvary, died in the hospital, February 5, aged 82. Deceased was buried in the Home Cemetery Friday afternoon, February 7, Chaplain Payne officiating at the funeral.

Note: James was a brother to Francis and John O'Connor and was at one time a resident of Monona County.
