Beulah Marie (Reynolds) Miller, 93, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Pleasant View Care Center, Whiting, Iowa.

A funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 12, 2024, at the First Christian Church, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Clif Cockburn, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Beulah’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. A visitation will be 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the First Christian Church, Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Beulah Marie Reynolds was born February 14, 1931, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Neal) Reynolds. She grew up near Blue Lake where her father farmed. Beulah went to Ashton #1 Township Country School till the eighth grade. She attended Onawa High School and later attained her G.E.D.

Beulah and Leonard Miller were united in marriage on November 30, 1947, at the First Christian Church, Onawa, Iowa. To this union four children were born: Brad, Becky, Karen, and Cyndi. During their married life Beulah worked on the farm while raising their family. She also worked as a waitress at Happy Chef in Onawa, Iowa, for a couple of years.

Beulah and Leonard loved dancing. They were avid two step and Polka dancers, and enjoyed country western dancing, at the Blair Marina and Timber Ridge. She enjoyed shopping, walking in town, and growing sweet peas, roses, and many other flowers. Beulah and her sister Nancy went on the great adventure of RAGBRAI in 1978. She donated eight gallons of blood to the American Red Cross, throughout her life.

Beulah was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Red Hat Society, Burgess Auxiliary, and Onawa Women’s Club that she was a past president of. She volunteered for the Monona County Fair floral hall for many years. She was an active member at the First Christian Church and the Ladies Circle #3 in Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include her children, Brad (Jerrilyn) Miller of Onawa, Iowa, Becky Anderson of Onawa, Iowa, Karen (Randy) Larson of Onawa, Iowa, and Cyndi (Paul) Moorhead of Moorhead, Iowa; grandchildren, Brent (Julie) Miller of Onawa, Iowa, Kara (Bruce) Johnson of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Johnathan Moorhead of Moorhead, Iowa, and Kris (Gary) Pruismann of Stratford, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Allie Miller of Onawa, Iowa, Peyton Johnson of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Greg Pruismann of Webster City, Iowa, Kellie Owens of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Katelin (Brady) Hartmann Stanhope, Iowa; seven great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Schallau of Onawa, Iowa and Mary Kramer of Onawa, Iowa; sister-in-law, Phyllis Reynolds of Onawa, Iowa; several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Miller; parents, Edward and Helen (Neal) Reynolds; parents-in-law, Leonard and Celia (Reed) Miller; son-in-law, Ron “Smiley” Anderson; sisters, Vivian (Don) Randall and Jeanette (Raymond) Yates; brothers, Bill Reynolds, Dick (Naomi) Reynolds, and Steve Reynolds; brothers-in-law, John Schallau, Joseph Kramer, and Robert (Joan) Miller; sister-in-law, Sharlene (LaVern) Schroeder; and nephews, Rick Reynolds, Tim Kramer, Ned Reynolds, and Kelly Schroeder.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Beulah’s memory to the Moorhead Christian Church, 407 Oak Street, Moorhead, Iowa, 51558, or the First Christian Church, 722 15th Street, Onawa, Iowa, 51040, or a charity of your choice.
