MAPLETON. Ia.-- Special: Funeral services for Louis C. Otto, 73, of Mapleton, will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday in the United Church of Christ. Rev. E. G. Otte will officiate, and burial will be in Danbury cemetery, with the Walter funeral home of Mapleton in charge.

Mr. Otto was born March 15, 1887, in Clinton County, Ia., and came, to Danbury community in 1898 with his parents. He married Lillian Hartleben September 10, 1908 at Denison, Ia. In 1944, he retired from farming and moved to Mapleton, where he was employed for, the following 10 years in a furniture store.

Mr. Otto died Saturday night at his home after long illness.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Lola Durst, Danbury and Mrs. Paul Koenigs, Mapleton; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Scott and Mrs. Etta Scott of Danbury, and Mrs. Julia Scoles of Mead, Neb.; and two brothers, Clarence of Holstein, and Walter of Danbury.
