24 April 1978MAPLETON, Iowa -- Miss Mabel L. Gibson, 92, Mapleton, died Friday at a Mapleton nursing home.
Graveside services be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Danbury Cemetery in Danbury with the Rev. Louis Aitken officiating. Burial will be under direction of the Walter Funeral Home, Mapleton.
Miss Gibson was born Sept. 11, 1885, in Irwin. After living in Texas, she moved to Mapleton in 1973.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a great-niece, Mrs. Ann Taylor of Lebanon, and a grand-nephew, Edwin Morland 3rd of Durango, Colo.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 26 at the Danbury Cemetery in Danbury, with the Rev. Louis Aitken officiating.
Miss Gibson was born September 11, 1885 in Irwin. After living in Texas, she moved to Mapleton in 1973.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a great-niece, Mrs. Ann Taylor of Lebanon, Tennessee, and a grand-nephew, Edwin Morland III of Durango, Colorado.
