Elmer E. Hook, 66, 319 E. 11th street, South Sioux City, died in Sioux City hospital Monday night after a week's illness. He was born in Madison, Wis., and lived in Colorado before coming to South Sioux City four years ago.

Survivors are the widow, Verda; a daughter, Letha Hook, South Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. E. B. Watkins, Longmount, Colo., and two brothers, Martin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and D. A. Twinsburg, O.

The body was taken to the Westcott - Doughty - Chandler funeral home.

Funeral services for Elmer E. Hook, 66, 319 East 11th street, South Sioux City, who died in a hospital here Monday after a brief illness, will be held at 1:30 p. m. today in the Westcott-Doughty- Chandler chapeL.

Rev. Kenneth Whitney, of the Riverside Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be at Whiting, la.

Pallbearers will be Emil and Will Schutte, Dan Holcomb, Glen Dibney. R. H. Rasmussen and Frank Johnson.
