Keith G. Oregon, 59, of Mapleton died Saturday at Onawa after a long illness. Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 1986, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mapleton with Msgr. A.W. Behrens officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton.

Mr. Oregon was born September 19, 1926, in Oto to Phillip and Opal (Greene) Oregon. A lifelong area resident, he had lived in Mapleton the last 32 years. He worked for Mac's Chevrolet in Mapleton for about 20 years and the last five years at Farmland Packing plant at Denison. He married Twila Payne on January 27, 1951, at Mapleton.

Mr. Oregon was an Army veteran of World War II and was a past member of Loren Hollister Post 389, American Legion.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; son Steve of Ogden, Utah; three daughters, Sheryl of Des Moines, Mrs. Craig (Lori) Hagemann of Castana and Lynette of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Opel Oregon of Oto; his twin brother, Kenneth of Mapleton; a sister, Mrs. Gary (Louise) Crouch of Loveland, Colorado and two grandchildren.

He was preceded by his father, two daughters and one brother.
