MOORHEAD, Iowa - Robert Lee McGuire, 58, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Perry, Iowa, and Moorhead, died of Lou Gehrigs Disease Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at his residence.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista. Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory in Bella Vista.

Mr. McGuire was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Perry, the son of William E. and Doris L. McGuire. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1959.

He married Gerri Yanak on June 17, 1960.

He was employed with McKesson Wholesale Drug for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He moved to Bella Vista in 1995.

He was a member of Highlands United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Lori and C.J. Malone of Bella Vista; a son and his wife, Jim and Carol of Farmington, Conn.; a brother and his wife, Bill and Sue of Moorhead; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
