Tommy Allen Hopkins, 67, of Whiting, Iowa, formerly of Mapleton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Pleasant View Care Center, Whiting, Iowa.

A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Karen Handke, officiating. Burial will follow in the Heisler Cemetery, rural Mapleton, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Tommy Allen was born April 1, 1954 in Mapleton, Iowa, the son of Billie Allen Hopkins, Sr. and Wilma Jean (Pauley) Hopkins. He grew up in Mapleton and attended school there. He lived at home with his parents in Mapleton. Tommy worked at Crossroads in Onawa, Iowa for several years.

Tommy enjoyed fishing, talking on the phone, puzzles, and card games. Tommy was always friendly and knew lots of people. He spoiled his nieces and nephews with candy and balloons.

Those left to cherish his memory, are his sisters, Karen Belt of Onawa, Iowa, Mary (Michael) Lee of Duncan, Arizona, and Myra Hein of Days Creek, Oregon; sister-in-law, Brenda (Dave) Hopkins Kraber of Moravia, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Hopkins, Sr. and Wilma (Pauley) Hopkins; brother, Billie Hopkins, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Richard Belt, Jr.
