Sarah Ann Shook, 81 of Ocoee, Florida, formerly of Onawa, Iowa passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 in Orlando, Florida.

A graveside service is being planned for a later date in the Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Sarah Ann Jobeun Shook was born August 16, 1940, at Sioux City, IA, daughter of Siide and Minnie Jobeun. She was raised in Sioux City until high school, the family moved to Decatur, Ne and graduated from there.

Sarah and Jim Shook were united in marriage December 31, 1958, in Tekamah, Nebraska. Jim died July 22, 2010. They made their home in Onawa where they raised their two children, Theresa Jo (TJ) and Christopher James. She recently moved to Florida to be with her daughter.

Sarah and Jim were in the Jewelry business for a number of years. Sarah had many interests and hobbies besides jewelry, she was an artist, seamstress, loved doing crafts of all kinds and craft fairs, and spent many years as VBS craft director. In later years it was her computer. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, at Decatur, and she was also Alumni President at Decatur for ten years.

She was baptized in 1968 at the First Christian Church at Onawa and was affiliated with the Whiting Christian Church.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Shook of Ocoee, Florida, and Christopher Shook; grandchildren, Cameron Shook and Zach Shook; brother, Jim Jobeun; sister-in-law, Helen Jobeun; nephews, Dave Jobeun and family, and Larry Jobeun and family; niece, Lisa Jordan and family of Omaha, Nebraska; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jim.
