Chas A. Mugfur was born in England, August 20, 1850.
He came to the U.S. when a young man and engaged in mining for several years.
He was married to Laura A. Bryant in the year of 1905.
They resided at Wharton, New Jersey for a number of years moving to Onawa, Iowa in the year 1922.
Mrs. Mugfur preceded him in death in the month of April 1929.
He passed away in Onawa on January 29, 1931 after several months of inability to do physical work or properly care for himself.
Neighbors and friends assisted in caring for him to the best of their ability, making him as comfortable as was possible.
The Knights of Pythia Lodge is to be commended for their personal assistance thru sickness and death of this kindly old man.
