Wanita (Gosch) Myers, 67, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.

Per Wanita’s wishes cremation has occurred and no memorial service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Wanita Irene was born April 4, 1953 to Herbert Frederick and Alice Irene (Rude) Gosch. She was one of eight children. She grew up on the family farm near Castana, IA. She graduated from Maple Valley High School in 1971. Wanita married Lloyd Duane Myers Jr. on June 4th, 1971 in Soldier, IA.

Wanita enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Elisha (John) Karr of Onawa, IA; son, Ken (Heather) Myers of Turin. IA; four grandchildren, Kirsten Myers, Mathew Myers, Connor Eyer, and Micah Myers; three sisters, Becky Marcum, Marla Bianchini, and Connie (Dave) Jansen; brother, David Gosch; mother-in-law, Donna Myers; three sisters-in-law, Laura Martz, Veta Myers, and Diane Gosch; and two brothers-in-law, Bob Mahlberg and Bill Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd D. Myers Jr.; parents, Herbert and Alice (Rude) Gosch, father-in-law, Lloyd D. Myers Sr.; sisters, Karen Gosch and Sharon Mahlberg; brother, Leonard Gosch; sisters-in-law, Loretta Sanderson and Linda Gosch; brothers-in-Law, Loren Myers, Lowell Myers, Leslie Myers, Rick Bianchini, and Dennis Marcum.
