Tim Bakke, 65, of Albaton, Iowa passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Private Family Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Dr. Emery Killian officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Albaton, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Tim was born January 21, 1955 in Onawa, Iowa the son of Leonard Milton and Esther Mary (Swan) Bakke. He grew up in Albaton, Iowa and graduated from Westwood High School in 1973.

Tim and Cynthia Sue (Miltenberger) were united in marriage on September 17, 1977 in Sloan, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Blaar and Krista.

Tim was a lifetime farmer. He also owned and operated a pool business called Tim’s Aquatic Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and caring for others.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Bakke of Sloan, Iowa; two children, Blaar (Gabe) Cooper of Whiting, Iowa, and Krista (Jeff Olson) Bakke of Albaton, Iowa; grandchildren, Tatum, Lexie, and Kylie Cooper and Lucie Bakke; one sister, Kay Kirkpatrick of Albaton, Iowa; and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bakke of Albaton, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Esther (Swan) Bakke; and two brothers, Wayne Bakke and Dale (Dorie) Bakke.
