The sad news was received here this week of the death of Mrs. Edith Davis Miller, wife of Verne Miller and daughter of Mrs. Jennie Davis of Blencoe. Mrs. Miller was born near Blencoe and lived there until a young woman, when after graduating from the Onawa high school, she went to Bellwood NE and began teaching school. There, she met and married Verne Miller. To them have been born four children, all of whom are living. Mrs. Miller went to Phoenix AZ last fall, hoping her health might be benefitted by a change in climate, but the hope proved vain. Miss Francis Davis was with her sister at the time of her death and is expected here today with the body. The funeral will be held from the home near Blencoe and body laid to rest in the Onawa cemetery by the side of her father.
