WORTHY MOTHER PASSES AWAY

Barbara E. Roberts was born Dec. 12, 1845 at Quintman, Mo. and passed away at the home of Mrs. W. W. Ordway Aug 12, 1831 at the age of eighty-five years and eight months.

On October 2, 1870 she was united in marriage to A. W. Jones. To this union were born eight children, three of whom died in infancy.

Surviving are five sons and daughters, Mrs. W. W. Ordway, Castana; O. J. Jones and A. E. Jones, Pisgah; J. A. Jones, Onawa and Mrs. J. W. Davis, Whiting; one sister, Mrs. D. H. Watson, Beggs. Okla., and two brothers, John Roberts Independence, Jansas and David Roberts, Gants Pass, Ore. She leaves twenty -five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Jones died Jan. 9, 1926.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Baptist Church.
