Mildred Hale Seacrist, 104, of 501 VES Road, died, on Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was the wife of the late Karl A. Seacrist. Born in Onawa, Iowa, on October 6, 1914, she was a daughter of the late William K. Hale and Edith L. Hale. She had retired from Imperial Colliery Company after 28 years of secretarial services. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret H. Deen. She is survived by a sister, Lois H. Herpolsheimer of Lincoln, Nebraska, and 12 nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Holy Cross Catholic Church by Msgr. J. Kenneth Rush, burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Cross Catholic Church or the Fellowship Fund, Westminster Canterbury. Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory is assisting the family.
