Patricia L. Johnson, 66, Onawa, Iowa died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa.

Patricia was born March 17, 1936 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Fred and Lela Hughes. She graduated from Whiting High School and also Ellis Beauty School. She married Tom Johnson March 24, 1962 at Whiting, Iowa. She worked at Liz's Beauty Salon at Whiting for 13 years and also was employed at Pearson Funeral Home at Onawa for 10 years.

She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Stacy and her husband Earl Krayenhagen of Battle Creek, IA and Sabrina Johnson of Onawa and seven grandchildren.

She was, preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2002 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa with Pastor Mike Cahill officiating. The music selection was "Amazing Grace". Burial was in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation was from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Rush Family Care Service The family was present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Casket bearers were James Osgood, Gary Zortman, Molly Blake, Ryan Krayenhagen, Jason Krayenhagen, and Kevin Mings. Honorary bearers were Jessica, Lindsay, Josh, Jeremy, and Derek Krayenhagen and Rusty McLaughlin.
