Irma F. Rock, 83, West Des Moines, IA formerly of Blencoe, Iowa died Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Kavanaugh House in Des Moines, Iowa.

Irma was born November 24, 1918 in rural Blencoe, the daughter of Dall and Eva (West) Dobley. She was raised in Blencoe and graduated from Blencoe High School in 1936. She was married to Kenneth A. Rock April 1936 at Whiting, IA. The couple moved to Des Moines in 1969. Kenneth died there January 9,1980.

Survivors include two sons Ken R. Rock and his wife, Lorraine of Penfield, NY and Jerry L. Rock of Denison, IA; a granddaughter, Sylena Marie Bradford of Webster, NY and a sister, Lois Rock of Blencoe.

Memorial services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2002 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa, IA with Rev. John Noer officiating. Special music was "In The Garden", "He Touched Me" and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" provided by Patty Gibson, soloist and Beverly Collison, organist. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery at Blencoe, IA.
