OMAHA, Neb. -- Dawn Marie (Fields) Nellor, 34, of Omaha died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at her home in Omaha.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa, with the Rev. Steve Cornelius officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Blencoe, Iowa. There will be cross-cultural services at the funeral home and graveside. Visitation with the family present will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Dawn was born Jan. 15, 1971, in Fremont, Neb., to Charles and Diana (Foote) Fields. She attended and graduated from South High School in Omaha. Dawn's father, Charles Fields, was Chief of the Omaha Indians-Sioux City Tribe, and Dawn was formally known as the Indian Princess.

She was married to Douglas Nellor on Jan. 31, 2000, in Logan, Iowa. The couple lived in Omaha, where Dawn was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas of Omaha; a daughter, Paige Marrie Nellor of Omaha; a sister, Andrea Fields of Bellevue, Neb.; two nephews, Thomas and Anthony Belmudez, both of Bellevue; and several brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Diana (Foote) Fields; her father, Charles Fields, of Macy, Neb.; and her grandparents.
