Mrs. Nettie Ford Passes Away Friday

Mrs. Nettie Ford, well known Onawa resident for the past fifty years, died Friday, April 14th at her home after a lingering illness. Rites were held Monday with burial at the Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City and arrangements in charge of the Barnard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nettie Ford, daughter of Theodore Vandervert and Ella Dods, was born at Chariton, Iowa, December 12, 1871 and passed away at her home in Onawa at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 2 days.

She has resided in Onawa for the last fifty years and is survived by her husband, Fred Ford, well known pioneer merchant, and a brother, B.C. Vandervert, of Onawa—Onawa Sentinel
