Shane Leroy Carter, 45, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Sioux City.
Graveside memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Kennebec Cemetery near Castana, Iowa, with Evangelist Dale Wolf officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Shane Leroy was born on April 1, 1973, in Onawa, to Ronald Leroy and Diane (Pranschke) Carter. He attended West Monona High School.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Carter (Roger Anderson) of Blencoe, IA; father, Ronald Carter of Onawa, IA; and three sisters and their families, Christy and Jason Bligh of Onawa, IA, Tonya Gashe of Onawa, IA, and Kandi Carter of Blencoe, IA.

Graveside memorial services were held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Kennebec Cemetery near Castana, Iowa with Evangelist Dale Wolf officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Honorary bearers were Shawn Pranschke, Timothy Bligh, Derek Gashe, Darius Gashe and Bryce Carter.
