Hornick, Iowa – Mabel E. Prichard, 80, of Hornick died Monday, November 23, 1992 at a hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Hornick with the Rev. Karen Dearchs officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Township Cemetery, rural Rodney. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Willman Funeral Home in Rodney.

Mrs. Prichard was born June 22, 1912 in Devil’s Lake, South Dakota, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Johnson) Odland. She married Basil Prichard December 29, 1936 in Canton, South Dakota. She had been a grade school teacher for several years.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Judy Shull-Hienbenthal, three grandchildren, Kerry Shull of Atlantic, Georgia, Kelly Shull of Omaha and Kyle Shull and his wife, Jodi of Lincoln, Nebraska and two brothers, Jack Sweeney of Sioux City and Dick Sweeney pf Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gene, and a sister, Geraldine.
