Pioneer of Monona County Passes Away
Blencoe, Iowa – January 19 – Samuel Cunningham, one of the pioneers of Monona County died at his home this afternoon.

Coming to the United States from Ireland in 1867, Mr. Cunningham settled in Monona County. In 1883 he formed a partnership with the late A.O. Gray and conducted a lumber and hardware business. He retired from business in 1901.

Mr. Cunningham is survived by his widow.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Congregational Church in Blencoe.
