Onawa, Iowa – Robert W. Morris, 83, of Onawa, died Friday at an Onawa hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Hornick. The Rev. Gary DeGeest will officiate. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery near Turin. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Sunday and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mr. Morris was born July 18, 1902, in Adrian, Missouri. He married Gladys Daugherty on October 16, 1926, in Onawa. The couple lived at Turin and Castana before moving to Smithland in 1942. They came to Onawa in 1984. He was a farmer and a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, one son, Robert Jr. of Hornick; one daughter, Mrs. James (Beverly) Hodgins of Sioux City; one brother, Orville of Earlham; five sisters, Mrs. Erma Hall of Meridan, Idaho, Mrs. Audrey Jensen of South Sioux City, Mrs. Edna O’Connor of San Jose, California and Mrs. Iola Hawkins and Mrs. Edrie Collins, both of Sioux City, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
