Keith G. Douglas 1955 – 1990

Onawa, Iowa – Keith G. Douglas, 35, of Onawa died Tuesday, May 22, 1990, in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness of cancer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa with the Rev. Everett Epperson officiating. Burial will be in the Onawa City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. today until service time in the funeral home.

Mr. Douglas was born February 21, 1955, in Akron. He moved with his family to Jefferson, South Dakota in 1956 where he attended school. In December 1981 he moved to Whiting and to Onawa in 1987. He was employed as a farm and construction laborer until 1982 when he worked as a laborer for Monona Services in Onawa.

Survivors include his parents, George W. and Rose A. (Findley) Douglas of Whiting, two brothers, LeRoy and his wife, Ann of Marion, South Carolina and Elroy of North Sioux City, three sisters, Sharon and her husband, Thomas J. Hittle of Waco, Texas, Fern E. Douglas of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Ellen and her husband Kenneth Smith of Fort Richardson, Alabama and two special friends, Donna and Jackie Swearingen.
