Stanley Allen Wagner, 78, of Chandler, formerly of Turin, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017.

Memorial services will be 4:30 p.m. Friday at the VA Medical Center Chapel, 650 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix, Ariz. Internment will be in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Stanley was the son of Louis H. and Margie L. Wagner. He served five years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for 19 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; four children, Mardy (Kristina), Jesse, Rebecca Martin (Joel), and Joanna Diehl (JohnDavid); seven grandchildren; and brother Dennis (Kathy) of Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arizona Coalition for Military Families or to Wycliffe Bible Translators - Migabac New Testament Project.
