ONAWA, Iowa -- Joshua Craig Sorenson, 21, of Onawa died of natural causes on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at his home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Dennis Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Joshua was born April 24, 1984, at Onawa, the son of Les and Kay (Henningsen) Sorenson. He lived his entire life in Onawa and attended West Monona Schools, where he graduated in the class of 2003. After graduation, he worked at E.G.'s Pumpkin Farm, Stangel Pharmacy and MCI. He was currently working at the Onawa Country Store and Exhaust Pros Works in Sioux City.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Onawa. He loved to tinker with things, be online talking to friends and especially enjoyed his truck. His cherished memory was days spent golfing with his Grandpa Virgil.

Survivors include his parents, Les and Kay Sorenson, and a brother, Matt Sorenson, all of Onawa; his grandparents, Mary Jane Sorenson of Onawa, and Gene and Connie Henningsen of Holstein, Iowa; four uncles and aunts, Steve and Debby Sorenson of Omaha, Neb., Shannon and Barb Henningsen of Ida Grove, Iowa, Ron and Cindy Hausman of Onawa, and Darin Henningsen of Austin, Texas; numerous cousins and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Virgil Sorenson; and his beloved dog, Mollie.
