Dustin Michael Solberg, 36, of Moorhead, Iowa, died Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, officiated by Pastor Carla Johnsen. Burial will follow in the Spring Valley Cemetery, rural Moorhead. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Dustin Michael was born September 9, 1980, in Denison, Iowa, the son of Larry and Lori (Olson) Solberg. He graduated from Denison High School with the class of 1999.

Dustin married Doris Montange on September 2, 2000, in Dow City. To this union, three children were born: Shelby, Sidney, and Braiden. The couple made their home in Denison before moving to Moorhead in 2007.

He worked as an over-the-road semi-driver for R & J Wegner. He enjoyed riding his Harley, riding 4-wheelers, playing darts and pool, and hanging out with his friends. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was affiliated with the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Solberg of Moorhead, IA; two children, Sidney Solberg and Braiden Solberg, both of Moorhead, IA; father, Larry Solberg of Moorhead, IA; mother, Lori Solberg of Denison, IA; brother, Nick (Jeanna) Solberg of Moorhead, IA; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Solberg of Moorhead, IA; maternal grandparents, Kay and MaryLou Olson of Denison, IA; father-in-law, Ken Montange of Denison, IA; mother-in-law, Barb Malone of Dunlap, IA; grandmother-in-law, Ornella Malone of Dunlap, IA; one nephew, Hunter Montange; two nieces, Aschtian Montange and Lydia Stover; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelby Taylor Solberg; paternal grandfather, Donnie Solberg; two uncles, Jeff Solberg and Steve Anderson; and grandfather-in-law, Fred Malone.
