Funeral Held Today for Mrs. W. Revel, 76

Mapleton, Iowa—Special; Funeral services for Mrs. William C. Revel, 76, who died at her home here after an illness of several years, were held Tuesday at St. John Methodist Church here.

Rev. George A. Osborn, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery under the direction of Byers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Revel was born December 10, 1870 at Mingo, Iowa. She lived at Des Moines with her parents until her marriage there December 25, 1900.

Mr. and Mrs. Revel moved to a farm three miles east of Mapleton in 1900 and farmed there until they retired in 1945 and moved to Mapleton.

Mrs. Revel was a member of St. John Methodist Church and was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge here.

Survivors include the widower; a sister, Mrs. J.A. Hohf of Yankton, S.D. and a brother, John F. Chalmers of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
