LeRoy "Lee" Raber, 72, died January 12 at a care center near his home in Montgomery City, Missouri.

He was the son of LeRoy and Nellie (Strom) Raber formerly of Whiting and Moorhead. A graduate of Whiting High School, Lee went on to serve in the U S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1956. He married Mary Kraft in 1956. He was a selfemployed mechanic and retired Auto - Mechanic Teacher at Montgomery Co R-l l School.

He was active in many civic organizations and the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 3 sisters (Qwen, Maxme and Jean) and 2 brothers-in law.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Vivian Shively, and 3 brothersin-law.
