Blanche Elizabeth (Frahm) Aust, 102, of Glendale, Arizona passed away, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Providence Place at Glencroft in Glendale, Arizona.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Linda Boggs, officiating. A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Providence Place Chapel in Glendale, Arizona. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Blanche Elizabeth was born September 14, 1914 in Onawa, Iowa the daughter of Henry and Lila (Steel) Frahm. After graduation from high school, she attended the Sioux City Academy of Beauty Culture and then she operated a beauty shop in Onawa, Iowa for ten years.

Elizabeth married Leroy Aust on September 29, 1940 in Onawa, Iowa.

At the time of her retirement, she was a FIC Life Insurance Agent for Modern Woodmen of America. Elizabeth moved to Arizona in 1972, to enjoy and be close to her loving family and to watch her grandson grow up. She resided at Glencroft Retirement Community for thirty-four years, participating and volunteering in all of the activities. She especially loved games and cards with her neighbors and friends.

Elizabeth attended the Glencroft Community Church.

She was a loving, fun, and a life-long caregiver, always reaching out to and assisting others.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Warengo and her husband, Bob; a grandson, Robert Warengo; and two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Dalton Warengo, all of Peoria, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Margaret Hansen.

She will be laid to rest next to her parents at the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa.
