Delores Mardell Miller, 83, of Onawa, Iowa went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa with Father Michael Erpelding, Celebrant, officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Ute, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Delores Mardell was born July 31, 1933 in Onawa, Iowa the daughter of Harry O. and Ethel M. (Gries) Anderson. She grew up in the Blencoe, Iowa area and graduated from Blencoe High School in 1951.
Delores and Fernard F. Miller were united in marriage on July 31, 1951 at St. John's Catholic Church in Onawa, Iowa.

Delores enjoyed raising her family and being a housewife. She also enjoyed embroidery work.
Survivors include her children, Mardell (Denny) Torgerson of Hornick, IA, Mary (Steve) Wickersham of Warroad, MN, Liz (Tom) Walczak of Whiting, IA, LeAnn (Ross) Coffman of Townsend, MT, Fred (Patty) Miller of Cherokee, IA, Ed (Lisa) Miller of Jefferson City, IA, and Michelle (Stewart) Petersen of Sioux City, IA; twenty one grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ethel (Gries) Anderson; her husband, Fernard Miller, four half-brothers, John Gray, Raymond Gray, Ronald Gray, and Delbert Gray; and one half-sister, Lillian Gray.
