Loyal Kee, 90, of Wakefield, Neb., died on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Wakefield Health Care Center in Wakefield, Neb.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m., at St. Clair Cemetery in Ute. Pastor Marcus Manley officiated.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Loyal was born in Onawa on July 16, 1926, the son of William and Anna (Hieber) Kee. He attended school through the eighth grade in Ute. He then worked with his father on the family farm.

Loyal is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Eugene (Mary) Kee, Loren (Janice) Kee, Gary (Lorna) Kee, John Gerry Kee, Marlene (Ronald) Peck, Maxine Jones, and Ann Steinbreck. He is also survived by a sister- in-law, Edna Kee, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Loyal was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Kee; brothers, William and Dorothy Kee and Norman Kee; brothers-in-law, Donald Jones and Carl Steinbreck; and sisters, Mildred (Adolph) Loots, Helen (John) Wrest, Beatrice (Robert Hammer), and Ruth Kee.

Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the services.
