13 October 2016Donna L. Ganzhorn, 84, of Mapleton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 6, at her home in Mapleton.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Mapleton. Rev. Marcus Manley will officiate the service, with the committal services following in the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Mapleton.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., with a prayer service held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Armstrong-Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton.
Donna L. Ganzhorn was born on Dec. 19, 1931, in Mapleton, to William and Anna (O’Leary) Sanford. She was a lifelong Mapleton resident and wife of Dr. Jack Ganzhorn.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Suzanne Ganzhorn-Kotula, Dr. Rudy Kotula, Adam Kotula, and Anna Kotula all of Omaha, Neb.; sister-in-law, Janet Sanford of Carroll; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Sanford; husband, Dr. Jack Ganzhorn; sisters, Louise Miller, Betty Conger, Phyllis Wade; and brother, Jack Sanford.
The Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
