5 October 2016W. Erlandson, 52, of Onawa, Iowa, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Michael Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Kennebec Cemetery in Castana, Iowa. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.
James Wayne was born April 26, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Dean and Virginia (Seaton) Erlandson. He graduated from West Monona High School in Onawa, Iowa in 1982.
Jim and Jerriann Harding were united in marriage on July 3, 1986 until 1992. He later married Theresa Biggs.
Jim worked in welding and metal working, and as a semi-truck driver.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boxing in his younger years. He was a fan of NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys football team.
Survivors include his three children, Katie Ann (Kyle) VandenHull of Sioux Falls, SD, Cody (Claire) Strong of Colorado Springs, CO, and Asher Biggs of Sturgeon, MO; two grandchildren, Wyatt Kemner and Lilyan VandenHull of Sioux Falls, SD; his parents, Dean and Virginia Erlandson of Onawa, IA; his brother, John Erlandson of Onawa, IA; and his niece and nephew, Taylor and Brandon Erlandson of Onawa, IA.
