Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Sammin have the deepest sympathy of the entire community over the loss of their two youngest children from a malignant form of bowel infection, Katherine who would have been three years old in October dying on Friday and Mary who was five in July died Monday morning at 3:00 o’clock.

Funeral services were conducted for Katherine at St. John’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Edward J. Smith on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock and for Mary Tuesday morning at 10:00 o’clock.

Relatives who came to attend the funerals were Mrs. David Brodigan and Miss Nell Sammin of Emmetsburg, Iowa, sisters of Mr. Sammin and Joseph Sammin of Jefferson, a brother of Mr. Sammin; Mrs. Joseph Martini and Mrs. Charles Waldron of Emmetsburg, sisters of Mrs. Sammin.

They are survived by their parents Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Sammin, one sister, Florence and three brothers, William, Floyd and Cletus.

Everything was done that could be done to save the little household jewels, several physician being called into consultation over the cases.
